Group Meetings

 

Limestone House is used as a meeting point for a variety of groups. These include:

 

The Wildlife Club, who record sightings of species of wildlife in our locality. Details are collated in the Heritage Centre and records passed on to the Derbyshire County Council Biodiversity officer.

Sightings of wildlife in the local area

 

The Genealogy Club. The members dig back into their family history and have so far uncovered murders, famous relatives and an OBE in the family. Some have even discovered they are related to each other. They meet every Thursday at 10am in Limestone Studio.

The Local History Group. They meet weekly in Limestone House and display their photographs and items of historical interest in Limestone House.

Local artefacts on display

After school activities. These are ongoing in the In fact and Junior School during school term and in the Multimedia studio every Monday.
