ECVC Mission Statement

The priority of the Company is to promote and develop the well-being of the people of Elmton and Creswell villages by.

1) improving the quality of life,

2) protecting the environment and heritage,

3) developing the local economy and

4) involving local people.

Improving the quality of life

We aim to improve the quality of life for those who live in Elmton and Creswell, not only by providing a healthy and safe environment, but also by developing better services, facilities and opportunities that are open to everyone, regardless of age, income or background.

Protecting the environment and heritage

We aim to take care of Elmton and Creswell’s unique environment and heritage so that present and future generations may continue to enjoy it.

Developing the local economy

A priority is the economic regeneration of our villages. We aim to do this by working with public and private organisations to help new and existing local businesses and enterprises to thrive and so boost job opportunities.

Involving local people

We will inform, consult with and listen to local people so that they can share in making decisions about issues, services and facilities that affect their lives. By increasing public awareness and understanding of our activities, we aim to engage and involve more people in community matters.
